ABOUT PROVIDER IN CHARGE
Dr. Anthonia Nwanna, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, BSN, is a board-certified medical provider. She attended Prairie View A & M University where she earned her Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (BSN) in 2008 and Masters in Nursing MSN/Family Nurse Practice in 2014. Because Dr. Anthonia is naturally driven by research and acquisition of knowledge, she elected to advance her knowledge by securing admission to Walden University where she received her Doctorate in Nursing (DNP) in 2019. She practiced Family Medicine in many clinics for years with other experienced physicians who had practiced family medicine for an average of 40 years. She is currently a certified medical practitioner. Her clinical expertise includes repair of minor lacerations, well-child exams, well-woman/man exams, low testosterone/erectile dysfunction, contraceptives management, physical exams for schools/employment, acute and chronic diseases, etc. Dr. Nwanna’s practice is driven by Research, Compassion, and Holistic care. She runs her clinic with Compassion because that is who she is. The time she spends with her patients at her practice and her reviews speak for her. Her patients call her “Born to Care.”
Dr. Anthonia Nwanna’s sincere passion for young adults inspired her to research obesity and physical activity participation among young adults. She developed A Lifestyle Modification Toolkit To Increase Physical Activity Among Young Adults.
